The 2023 IACP Technology Conference was a huge success, bringing together more than 1,000 attendees from all over the world to discuss emerging technologies in law enforcement. The annual event took place May 22–24 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, with 100 exhibitors—featuring the latest tools for police—and more than 50 engaging workshops covering topics such as drones, real-time crime centers, and artificial intelligence. Attendees had the opportunity to network with peers from across varying roles and agencies. The information presented at the tech conference covered the most pressing issues from the field, providing attendees with actionable information to take back to their organizations. Chief Ed Walsh, general chair of IACP’s Midsize Agencies Division, inspired attendees to take the initiative, stating,
