First of all, I would like to thank you for allowing me to serve as IACP Vice President–Treasurer for the past nine years. I would also like to thank the members of the IACP who have supported me in the past and to introduce myself to the members who have joined the IACP during the past three years.
I have been in law enforcement for 42 years and have been a police chief for more than 34 years—26 years of which have been with my present department. I have a master of science degree in urban affairs and policy analysis with a specialty in public administration and a bachelor of science degree in finance.
As a life member of the IACP, I am currently serving my third term as IACP vice president–treasurer. In addition, I serve as chair of the Financial Review Committee; am a member of the Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Committee; and have oversight of the Conference Committee, Research Advisory Committee, and the Education and Training Committee. I also serve on the IACP Foundation Board as treasurer.
