Radio broadcasts to travelers
The Department of Homeland Security U.S. Customs and Border Protection is installing a network by Information Radio Systems at key land border points of entry, providing information to approaching motorists with the intention of expediting their passage across the border. The federally licensed 10-watt AM radio stations are currently installed in three sites. Additional sites are planned on the southwest border, and locations on the Canadian border also are being considered. The stations provide the capability of broadcasting time-sensitive messages developed at the local ports of entry.

Narcotics identification tests

Collision reporting center
Accident Support Services International is pleased to announce the opening of a new Collision Reporting Centre (CRC). The CRC enables enhanced service to citizens by providing a faster and safer response to property damage collisions, and it frees-up officer time that can be reallocated to other investigations and crime prevention initiatives. This enhanced service also provides police and insurers with real-time access to collision data and reports. The CRC will not change the way police respond to collisions where a criminal offence or injuries are involved. Police will continue to respond to those incidents.
