Foldable Shield

ATCS (Advanced Technology Compliant Solutions) announces that its game-changing Swift Shield is available to law enforcement agencies and departments in the United States. Weighing only eight pounds and providing five square feet of protection when unfolded, it was developed using state-of-the-art materials and the ancient art of origami paper folding. It is a patent-pending ballistic shield that can be folded into a compact size, easily stored or carried, and quickly deployed. Recent scientific advancements in materials technology, such as the development of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), make the armor plates only two-tenths of an inch thick, yet they deliver ballistic protection.
