Body Armor Insert
RTS Tactical offers life-saving armor technology that maximizes protection and performance in the field. RESES is a unique containment-chamber approach to stopping and encasing fragmentation. When a fast-moving projectile meets a ballistic steel armored panel that is upgraded with RESES, the proprietary chamber creates a sandbag effect suppressing the bullet trajectory—resulting in the chamber encapsulating the round and leaving no room for the fragmentation to escape. This new technology delivers spall and fragmentation protection to users and bystanders in and around steel armor applications, to deliver added protection with minimal additional weight.

Robotics Centre Inc. and Smith Myers announced that the Smith Myers ARTEMIS mobile phone detection, location, and communication suite has been integrated into the new Robotics Centre Echo SAR (search and rescue) payload for small unmanned aircraft systems built by Teledyne FLIR Defense, enabling operators to quickly find, map, and interact with mobile phone handsets in fast-moving disaster situations and helping first responders locate victims and save lives. Designed for use on Teledyne FLIR’s R80D SkyRaider and SkyRanger R70 drones, it provides the standalone ability to find an individual mobile handset, conduct mass mapping of mobile phones in out-of-service areas, and communicate either with individuals or groups of mobile phones.

For use with background music and paging, the SPA-B100B/W wall/cabinet speaker and the SPA-C110B/W plenum-rated ceiling speaker are available in both black and white. Background music can also be scheduled from a simple web interface. A pendant mount option is available for open ceilings. The SPA-H100B/W is a new indoor/outdoor horn speaker with over 100dB SPL. It can be mounted on a wall or pole and offers multiple secure pivot points. When integrated with a VMS or AI camera, upon detecting a person, a sound file can be triggered from the speakers automatically.
