Video System on a Chip
Hanwha Techwin America introduces its next generation Wisenet 7 SoC (system on a chip). New key features include industry leading cybersecurity features, clear images in all lighting conditions, and improved lens distortion correction. Wisenet 7 offers end-to-end cybersecurity with high levels of protection including secure boot, OS, storage, and JTAG, plus a signed firmware/open platform app. It offers forensic-level image quality by utilizing multiple combined technologies. Digital overlap and scene analysis technology reduces motion artifacts and improves picture quality in low-light conditions. Dynamic range is maximized, and noise is reduced, minimizing motion blur and improving edge and color definition of objects.
Body-Worn Camera
Pro-Vision Video Systems announces the release of its new Bodycam 4 body-worn camera. Bodycam 4 is designed with RFID Login, allowing departments to purchase Bodycam 4 based on need instead of officer head count since officers on different shifts can easily share a single body-worn camera. It features configurable Full-Shift Continuous Recording and Pre-Event Recording buffers to ensure critical events are not missed, even without hitting record. Bodycam 4 can also be automatically activated by any vehicle within a 30-foot range to keep the focus where it should be—on the situation at hand. Uploading and managing video evidence is easy.

Electronic Lock Control Fob
InterMotive Vehicle Controls, a leading manufacturer of electronic control systems, has included the innovative AutoSense locking feature on multiple products. AutoSense automatically locks and unlocks OEM and non-OEM doors based on the proximity of the fob. Depending on the application, the feature is activated using either an OEM or InterMotive supplied fob. The feature already comes standard on the popular law enforcement IdleGuard system, made specifically for the Dodge Charger Pursuit. AutoSense has recently been added to the EcoStar III idle mitigation system and the IdleLock key-out secured idling system. Including AutoSense in InterMotive products makes it easier to secure vehicles.
UAS Multisensory Payloads
FLIR Systems, Inc., announces the StormCaster family of Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) payloads for its SkyRanger R70 and R80D SkyRaider airframes. The new line launches with two multi-sensor products: StormCaster-T, delivering continuous zoom and longwave infrared (LWIR) imaging; and StormCaster-L, providing ultra-low-light imaging, tracking, and mapping. The new StormCaster line offers a 7X improvement in line-of-sight stabilization, enhanced range of motion, and greater geolocation accuracy in a rugged package. The StormCaster-T features a FLIR Boson thermal camera. Its continuous zoom lens provides clear, actionable imagery. The StormCaster-L ultra-low-light imaging camera offers superior performance during twilight and nighttime operations.

Panasonic announces the TOUGHBOOK N1 Tactical. Tactical and special operations teams require the most reliable devices for mission planning, situational awareness (SA), and mission execution. The TOUGHBOOK N1 Tactical is the latest in the TOUGHBOOK family of industry-leading, reliable mobile devices. Designed specifically for special operation environments, this Android-based EUD is fully rugged, 7′ drop tested, IP66, IP68, and MIL-STD-810G certified.
