Decontamination Safety Shower
Time is of the essence after an exposure to a hazardous chemical substance, and any delay, even for a few seconds, can result in serious injury. The New Laboratory Applications Emergency Shower Booths are available with finished side exterior panels. HEMCO Decontamination Booths are fully assembled and ready for installation to water supply and waste systems. The shower is molded of a single, seamless piece of chemical resistant fiberglass and is equipped with a pull rod-activated shower and push handle eye and face wash for immediately drenching personnel that have been exposed to hazardous chemicals. The shower is equipped with frosted front strip curtains, interior grab bars, raised deck grating, and a bottom or rear drain outlet.

Its ruggedized, compact design provides maximum portability and withstands rigorous field use. It delivers secure real-time data, such as video from cameras, drones, and manned aircraft to the STRAX Rapid Response Platform, enabling dissemination of critical incident data to fellow responders, remote command centers, headquarters, real-time crime centers, and other authorized users to expedite decision-making and response. The STRAX cloud-based solution provides a common operating platform for public safety and government agencies.
Handheld Scanner
FARO Technologies, Inc., offers the handheld 3D forensic scanner, Freestyle 2. Ideal for investigators and reconstructionists who require fast and complete scene documentation, Freestyle 2 provides immediate real-time visualizations with photorealistic capture capabilities. Versatile and lightweight, Freestyle 2 can scan distances ranging from 0.4m to 10m or items from small discrete objects at a crime scene investigation to entire vehicles (interior and exterior), as well as interior scenes. Freestyle 2 is also capable of generating usable data in complete darkness, and its one-handed operation leaves the operator’s other hand free. It also features a training mode with integrated training videos.

Tactical Footwear
Reebok offers three models of the Trailgrip Tactical. The RB3450, RB3455, and RB3460 are built on a slip resistant rubber outsole with an active traction lug bottom, which is great for durability and grip in a variety of terrains and surfaces. A microweb lacing system keeps the foot locked in with lateral stability. Comfort is provided through a combination of a DMXRide Foam Midsole for super-responsiveness, a MemoryTech Foam footbed for shaping to one’s foot, and a mid-cut design for ankle support. Fleet Management System
Blue Sky Network, an Iridium Satellite Communications partner offers the HawkEye 5500 (HE5500), dual-mode, real-time tracking, and vehicle management solution. The HawkEye 5500 offers full integration of on-board systems, two-way messaging, a remote emergency switch, collision detection, audible alerts, RFID and Bluetooth driver identification, and customizable application integration. The HE5500 utilizes 2G/3G/LTE and the Iridium satellite network to provide global always-on coverage. Users can customize reporting rates based on movement or location and provide driver feedback when safety violations occur. The HE5500 is suitable for mission-critical operations such as public safety and search and rescue in remote environments.
Handheld Analyzer
The manufacture of illicit narcotics with low, distributed concentrations but high chemical potency has created challenges in substance identification for customs, border protection, law enforcement, public safety, and military personnel. The Thermo Scientific Gemini Analyzer, now with LowDoseID, specifically addresses this rising trend. It combines FTIR and SERS into one device to facilitate identification for substances with a concentration between 1 and 10 percent. In addition, the Thermo Scientific Gemini Analyzer has undergone a software update. The version 1.8 software enhances ease of use with on-screen color-coded alerts based on analysis results and an expanded factory chemical library.
Unmanned Aircraft Platform
GE introduces AiRXOS to accelerate the safe, efficient, scalable integration of air and ground space for manned and unmanned vehicles. AiRXOS helps government agencies, regional aviation authorities, and private sector operators manage and meet the increasing demand for sophisticated and safe unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) operations. AiRXOS is working with three police agencies to demonstrate capabilities such as operations over urban settings, night operations, beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS), as well as developing overall unmanned traffic management (UTM) systems. AiRXOS combines technology and expertise to shape the large-scale impact of autonomous innovation in policing.
