Utility, Inc. Rolls Out New RocketIoT 3.0 System AND Purpose-built Vehicle Camera
As part of Utility’s commitment to their agency partners, they are continuously working to innovate and improve upon their services to best fit the needs of customers and the communities they serve. The release of RocketIoT 3.0 allows for improved integration across all Utility, Inc., products and services, including the BodyWorn cameras and AVaiLWeb cloud-based digital evidence management platform. This update includes an enhanced software release and adds a new purpose-built vehicle camera to provide a better user experience for law enforcement agencies. The new vehicle video camera is designed specifically to support both the in-car video and the license plate reader modules.
Utility, Inc. provides law enforcement officers with an intuitive platform for effectively capturing, managing, and releasing video evidence. Utility’s BodyWorn™ camera and RocketIoT® in-car video system incorporate real-time communications, policy-based automatic recording functionality, and real-time GPS positioning for the best situational awareness possible during critical times. The BodyWorn camera utilizes unique communication capabilities and specific recording triggers to initiate video recording automatically. Triggers are set by individual law enforcement departments based on their recording policies. BodyWorn cameras may operate singularly or in conjunction with RocketIoT and come equipped with built-in accelerometers, prone positioning, and light bar sensors to detect doors opening, rapid motion, etc.

Dual Thermal Sensor Gimbal
The FLIR Vue TZ20, a high-resolution, dual thermal sensor gimbal, is purpose-built for the DJI Matrice 200 Series and Matrice 300 airframes. Featuring both a narrow-field-of-view and a wide-field-of-view 640×512 resolution FLIR Boson thermal camera module, the Vue TZ20 offers greater situational awareness with a 20-times digital thermal zoom capability. IP44 rated to provide operability in poor weather conditions and weighing just 640 grams (1.4 lbs.) in total, the Vue TZ20 includes a wide-angle Boson with a 95-degree field of view, a narrow-angle Boson with a 19-degree field of view, and plug-and-play operation through the DJI Pilot software. Payload functions include thermal video streaming, video recording, and still-image capture.

Boost front or rear warning capability with this ultra-thin LED device that also produces 67 flash patterns with its dual-color light heads, featuring a thin, low-profile design and delivering maximum light output, enhancing visibility on scene to keep officers and the public safe under any operational environment. At only 1.2 in. high and with adjustable mounting options, the sleekly designed unit is practically undetectable when not in use. Also, a shroud is included to eliminate flash back. The temporary mount option uses suction cups, along with a simple controller and power unit.
