Narcotics Detection

The CQL Narc-ID handheld Raman analyzer, part of Rigaku’s handheld 1064 nm Raman CQL Series analyzers, focuses on illicit narcotics analysis, offering presumptive identification of narcotics, precursor chemicals, and cutting agents. With 1064 nm Raman technology, users can safely scan through translucent materials, minimizing the need to open any packaging or containers. The 1064 nm wavelength also better handles fluorescence and allows a greater ability to identify dirty or mixed substances at the point of need. Also, all Rigaku CQL Series Raman analyzers have the ability to detect non-visible substances with the optional QuickDetect feature.

Noise Cancelling Mic

PRYME unveils its latest groundbreaking innovation: NoiseMaster Advanced Intelligent Active Noise Cancellation technology for portable two-way radios like the SPM-NM50 Series Remote Speaker Microphone. The system uses a Spot Beamforming technique to filter and eliminate ambient noise while focusing on and enhancing the human voice to allow clear communications. The SPM-NM50 Series Remote Speaker Microphone is equipped with a high sensitivity electret mic to capture the user’s voice audio during calls and employs cutting-edge Intelligent Active Noise Cancellation technology to process audio and effectively remove unwanted sounds. The PRYME’s SPM-NM50 is powered by the two-way radio.

Scope

Hawke has added a fiber optic L4A reticle to their Vantage IR 1- 4×20 scope. Built on a high-grade aluminum, one-inch monotube chassis, the scope can be used like a reflex sight or zoomed in with up to 4X magnification. It’s not just a traditional LED-illuminated reticle; it’s a fiber optic dot with multistage illumination that allows it to visibly shine in both low-light and daylight bright situations. The classic L4A Dot reticle point is centered within a standard crosshair for a built-in leveling effect. Four inches of eye relief make this scope readily adaptable to nearly any firearm.

Standards Platform

PowerDMS by NEOGOV introduces a Professional Standards Suite (PSS) comprising three solutions designed for law enforcement. They work together to elevate officer resilience, agency health, and community safety within a single, easy-to-use platform. The new PSS encompasses three fully integrated pieces of software: PowerAction, PowerIA, and PowerVitals. All are user-friendly, secure, and customizable. PowerAction is a reporting software that helps document, manage, and review officers’ on-duty actions like pursuits, use of force, and equipment damage. PowerIA is a secure case management software that helps agencies manage internal affairs cases and complaints. PowerVitals is a wellness-forward early intervention software that equips supervisors to support officers.

X-ray Scanner

Smiths Detection, a global leader in threat detection and security screening technologies, announces the SDX 10060 XDi, a groundbreaking X-ray scanner powered by diffraction technology, which can elevate security screening operations. It leverages cutting-edge X-ray diffraction technology to offer unparalleled material discrimination and substance identification capabilities. By generating a unique “diffraction fingerprint,” it can accurately distinguish between substances with similar densities, making it exceptionally effective for identifying homemade explosives and narcotics in various forms. This advanced detection system is especially beneficial for high-volume, high-speed applications such as baggage screening, helping to mitigate ever-growing threats to society.

Human-Smuggling Detection System

ClanTect is rolling out its latest multi-vehicle scanning version of their tried and tested ClanTect MDT Human Presence Detection System (Heart-Beat Detector). This latest version is an important upgrade to their initial multi-vehicle system. The difference between the new multi-vehicle system and the earlier version is that it incorporates wireless connectivity between the control terminal and the sensors. This provides a major simplification to operation and removes the considerable cable management and maintenance issues associated with any wired solution. The new system can be used with a control terminal that is either a workstation or a ruggedized tablet.

Helmet

Adept Armor, the most innovative company in leading performance body armor, announces the remarkable durability and resilience of the Adept Armor NovaSteel ACH-style helmet when subjected to rigorous testing against a .357 Magnum revolver firing FPJ ammo from PPU. The NovaSteel helmet endured more than two dozen shots with remarkable fortitude. Despite relentless assault, the helmet resisted penetration, exhibited minimal shell deformation, and maintained its padding integrity. The test was halted only when the retention system reached its limit. To witness the incredible resilience of the NovaSteel helmet firsthand, watch the live-round test video on Adept Armor’s official YouTube channel.

AV Switches

Luxul, the leading innovator of IP networking solutions, is now shipping the full updated lineup of its SW Series Managed PoE+ AV switches. The switch family introduces a refreshed user interface with a streamlined setup process, enhancing the installation experience in AV-over-IP (AVoIP) environments. The SW Series includes eight managed switches that allow systems integrators to quickly set up, install, and manage any AVoIP infrastructure with enough PoE+ to power many network devices. All eight models feature powerful PoE+ budgets ranging from 130W to 740W and come in up to 48 PoE+ ports with rear and front port orientation options.
