The new compact body-worn camera from Panasonic i-PRO features a 12H swappable battery, plus an easy-to-read LCD status screen displaying battery life, remaining recording capacity, operation mode, and more. Officers can swap drained batteries in seconds—without wires or plugs. Enhanced field of view and 1080p HD resolution captures fine details, and the unit can be switched to 720p to conserve bandwidth and capacity. Built-in Wi-Fi enables video to offload to the vehicle or a central server; video can also be downloaded via a hardwire dock. Additional features include Bluetooth, on-board GPS, H.265 compression, IP67 environmental rating, and MIL-STD 810H military-grade design.

NoSweat face shield liners are designed to stick to the forehead band of any face shield to wick away sweat, preventing it from running down the officer’s face and causing fogging and hygiene issues. Tuffy Security Products introduces its Atlas Vault Lockbox, Model 364-01 for law enforcement agencies. This lockable drawer with a built-in cargo carrier on top measures 40″W x 20″L x 10″H, is manufactured of 16-gauge steel with a textured powder-coated finish, and can hold up to 100 pounds. It locks with an electronic combination lock. Items can also be stored on its top deck, which also has a tie-down weight capacity of 100 pounds. Both the drawer and the top deck have carpet lining. Atlas Vault mounts to the floor of pickups or SUVs with a mounting kit and comes with risers to lift it 5-8″ from the surface.

Bell Textron Inc. announces today the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the Installation of QuantiFLY, a new aircraft communication unit (ACU) powered by Truth Data, offering a true low-cost, lightweight, and fully automatic flight data monitoring (FDM) solution currently available for the Bell 407GXi and Bell 429. Bell developed QuantiFLY with Appareo and FDM analytics to enable operators to affordably use the data from QuantiFLY to be actionable and drive safety. The device utilizes cellular (4G LTE/3G GSM) on the ground data transmission to offboard aircraft flight parameter and maintenance data via the cloud for processing and analytics.

Hanwha Techwin America offers the PNV-A9081R – 4K AI vandal-resistant dome camera with built-in IR illumination. Part of the Wisenet P series, the AI-based camera captures pristine images at up to 4K resolution while including powerful, in-camera deep learning algorithms for advanced object detection, classification, and error-free analytics. Utilizing object recognition versus motion detection all but eliminates false alarms. The included, license-free, analytics detect and classify a range of objects, including vehicles, license plates, people, and faces, and the unique attributes of the objects are stored as metadata alongside the video information. These metadata can be read by a VMS server.
