In recent years, the conversation regarding the well-being of employees in law enforcement has evolved considerably. In response, many agencies and organizations have taken proactive steps to address the needs of their employees, with a focus on quality of life, health, and wellness, as well as fair and equitable treatment in the workplace. To be clear, there have always been police agency leaders, informal and formal, who champion the dignity and respect of workers, but they should not shoulder that responsibility alone, nor should they be the exception.
