The FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services Division is home to the FBI’s National Threat Operations Center (NTOC). NTOC is one of the many services operated by the Criminal Justice Information Services Division that supports police and protects the public, such as the National Crime Information Center, the National Data Exchange (N-DEx), and the National Instant Criminal Background Check System.
