Planning is well under way for the 2012 LEIM Training Conference and Technology Exposition, which will be held May 21–23, 2012, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Every year since 1977, chiefs, sheriffs, commanders, information technology directors, project managers, crime analysts, line officers, and subject matter experts have gathered at the annual LEIM conference to share their knowledge and practical experience in planning, implementing, and operating technology in law enforcement.
The LEIM conference is designed to share leading practices and lessons learned in the innovative application of technology to improve officer and public safety, enhance efficiency and effectiveness of operations, and build enterprise-wide information sharing capabilities. In addition to plenary sessions and concurrent panel presentations, the LEIM conference includes a Technology Exposition Hall, which features industry-leading technology solution providers.
