Police Chief magazine’s 2011 Buyer’s Guide includes more than 500 companies. Sixty-eight percent of Police Chief readers have executive-level purchasing authority, controlling an annual equipment budget of approximately $167 billion across the United States. Of those, more than 70 percent indicate they will purchase administrative products, weapons, computer hardware, training services, transportation, and investigative products within the next two years.
