It is no secret that law enforcement officers put themselves at great risk every day as they strive to enforce laws, prevent crime, and protect their communities. However, in addition to the safety risks inherent in the job, these professionals also face assaults and attacks that put their lives in danger. Violence against police is a complex matter that demands attention in order to ensure law enforcement professionals are able to fulfill their responsibilities while preserving their lives and the lives of others.
