Effective, applicable, and up-to-date education and training is a priority for law enforcement, influencing everything from hiring and promotions to policy and practices. Whether it’s delivered via the academy, internal classes, external programs, online systems, college courses, or in-service training, it’s essential for officers to be continually given the opportunity to have current information and develop news skills in order to ensure top-quality service to communities and agencies.
