The effects of natural disasters and mass violence incidents can take a toll on emergency responders and communities. Incidents such as domestic violence, mass shootings, and blackouts are very different types of incidents, but they all pose serious threats to community safety. November’s Police Chief examines multiple types of critical incidents and identifies partnerships and resources that can help law enforcement agencies prepare for and respond to critical incidents.
