Advanced security system
The Thermal Matrix advanced security ACT system is designed to identify the presence of firearms, bombs, and other materials at a distance with its long-range standoff detection capability that can spot potential tragedy long before a terrorist has time to act. Independent testing performed by federal government agencies has shown the Thermal Matrix ACT system capabale of detecting threat objects in real time and at hundreds of feet from both the system and the operator, while terrorists remain unaware they are being monitored. Time cards
The time card capability, combined with TeleStaff by PDSI’s comprehensive feature set, represents a new standard for workforce scheduling and time management. Contactless finger scanner
The NEC Corporation introduces a device that simultaneously acquires fingerprint and finger vein characteristics without physical contact. The HS100-10 Contactless Hybrid Finger Scanner makes it difficult for impostors to deceive the authentication system, and the system’s sensor is accurate even with exceptionally dry or moist fingers, which sometimes prove difficult for conventional contactbased fingerprint authentication devices to properly scan. The HS100-10 is compatible with major access management software, including IBM’s Tivoli Access Manager for Enterprise Single Sign-On and Novell’s Novell SecureLogin.

Message display center
Precision Solar Controls’ full matrix variable message display, the SMC 2000 FM-ST Solar Message Center, is now available. The message center displays text and graphic messages on a 76-inch by 139-inch panel and features an onboard, dedicated, user-friendly controller that provides easy programming with secure password protection.
