Missing child alert system
AdZone Research Inc. announces the introduction of the Missing Child Alert System, the fourth module in its group of Web-based law enforcement tools. That group also includes the Online Predator Profiling System, known simply as OPPS. AdZone’s Missing Child Alert System is designed to automatically alert investigators when a missing child shows up online in the system’s chat room monitoring data.

Knee and elbow protection
Hatch introduces the XTAK line of knee and elbow pads. The lightweight X-shaped thermal plastic urethane shell is designed to flex naturally with the knee and elbow and spring back. It features a low-profile design and an antiskid inner surface engineered to keep the pads in place during movement, EVA high-density foam to absorb shock, and Cordura nylon to provide excellent abrasion resistance. XTAK uses DuPont’s CoolMax liner fabric designed to wick away moisture. The XTAK knee and elbow pad system is offered in black, desert tan, and digitized camouflage.

Computer multidisplay upgrade
Matrox Graphics Inc. announces the DualHead2Go Digital Edition featuring digital outputs, a device that is designed to connect the VGA output of compatible notebook or desktop computers and expand the desktop across two digital displays. Teel Technologies announces the launch of MobileForensicsCentral.com, or MFC, a free Web site created to assist digital forensics examiners engaged in the emerging field of mobile device forensic analysis. Light
PentagonLight announces a personal light designed for the law enforcement community. The MOLLE light is a 30-lumen LED light powered by only a single AA battery. It is designed to be inserted through MOLLE PALs webbing for secured attachment on a vest. The angled design with a top switch is designed to allow hands-free illumination and the rotating clip is designed to allow wearers to attach the unit to pockets, belts, and helmets. A blue-light filter is included and is engineered to be secured on the tail-cap.
