Despite aggregate reductions in violent crime, violent street crime continues to impact urban communities in the United States in various, significant ways. Recognizing this issue, the IACP/University of Cincinnati Center for Police Research & Policy (IACP/UC Research Center) recently studied the effects of violence reduction strategies on violent street crime.
