In recent decades, technology has provided several solutions in the field of road safety that are able reduce the risk of road accidents, resulting in decrease in the number of road deaths and injuries.1 In this context, driverless and autonomous driving cars are a possible decisive factor, and, according to engineering studies, in a future-oriented context, driverless cars can improve the road safety and the security of police activity.2
