It was easy … people basically managed themselves… I could easily tell people they need improvement, and they would improve … it will work as long as you support your people … it will all come naturally … everyone works just like me. WRONG—on all fronts! Leadership is hard and requires great courage to continually do what is right and not necessarily easy.
