The COVID-19 pandemic changed society more dramatically and quickly than anything most people have ever witnessed. Within the law enforcement community, agencies had to adapt and comply with health organizations’ recommendations while adjusting operations accordingly. Law enforcement is a profession built on personal contact, but when personal contact is how the virus is spread, the manner in which business is conducted changes out of necessity.
