Replicating a National Model at the Local Level

Over the past several decades, police practitioners and academic researchers have partnered to conduct critical research on all aspects of policing. These collaborations have created a significant set of evidenced-based research to guide improved policing practices. Looking to the future, police and researcher partnerships have an unlimited potential to become much more robust in approaches, value, impact and sustainability. This article highlights a current national model and demonstrates the value of replication at the local police agency level.
