Both the U.S. House and Senate Committees on Appropriations have advanced their Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 Commerce, Justice, Science Appropriations bills. Both of these bills have yet to go to the House or Senate floor and still await conference. See Figure 1 for proposed FY 2017 law enforcement–relevant funding levels in comparison to the FY 2016 enacted levels.
